For over many years, Community Meals in The Dalles served free meals to anyone in need — no questions asked.  With the help of volunteers and community partners, we provided food, friendship, and dignity to our neighbors.

In  2025, Community Meals changed from serving hot meals to managing the Wahtonka Food Pantry located in the old Wahtonka High School in The Dalles. Our food pantry operates on a shopper model, where individuals can select their own groceries rather than receiving pre-packaged meals.
